Promoting Healthy and Safe Relationships Addressing and Preventing Dating Violence

Peer Health Educators are in a unique position in their campus communities to start conversations around healthy relationships as well as dating and sexual violence. Seen by students as resource for health related concerns, Peer Health Educators might also be approached by survivors or friends of survivors who are looking for information on their options or just need someone to talk to. This webinar will equip Peer Health Educators with a background on intimate partner and sexual violence (IPV) and healthy relationships, as well as tools and resources that they can use to start conversations with students around these issues.
This webinar was co-sponsored by the Office of Minority Health in collaboration with the Administration for Children and Families and its grantees: Futures Without Violence, Family Violence Prevention and Services Program, Asian and Pacific Islander Institute on Domestic Violence and Casa de Esperanza.
