In observance of Men’s Health Month, Preconception Peer Educator (@PPE_program), the Office of Minority Health (OMH) and the Men’s Health Network will co-host a twitter chat to highlight current and upcoming initiatives addressing men’s health. The chat will take place on June 8 at 2 p.m. EDT. Participants can join the discussion by following #MHMonth16
If you would like to partake in the chat, please follow @PPE_Program on Twitter and send your Twitter handle to Teddy Owusu, Program Coordinator | firstname.lastname@example.org or Shana Griffith, Digital Media Coordinator | email@example.com to receive further instruction.
This year, OMH’s Preconception Peer Educator Program will work to pilot a men’s health curriculum focused on increasing preconception health and care among minority men, educating young boys about the importance of reducing their health risk behaviors, and developing a reproductive life plan. OMH’s Preconception Peer Educator Program will co-host the discussion and detail upcoming men’s health initiatives. We invite you to share ways in which you are addressing the health needs of men in your communities.
