Preventing Unplanned Pregnancy at Your College

Description:

The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy is excited to present free tools and resources for peer educators to help them with their outreach to college students about preventing unplanned pregnancy. The webinar will offer peer educators the opportunity to receive materials that can be used or distributed at campus events, as well as some ideas for how to use them. For the faculty advisors who are participating, the webinar will also briefly include strategies and resources that colleges can use to help students address sexual health, including ones that can be used in curricular and co-curricular settings.
Bedsider.org (Bedsider) is the Campaign’s award-winning birth control support network. It is perfect for college students and has been shown through research to reduce unplanned pregnancy among women who use it. Bedsider is a resource for men and women to learn about their birth control options, better manage their birth control, and in the process avoid getting pregnant until they’re ready.
